Troubleshooting Tips

If your webcam does not appear to detect your movements well, this can commonly be traced to lighting conditions.  Often more contrast from the camera will help.  From the main menu, select the Camera Setup button to to access the Camera Setup Wizard.  From there, select Camera Settings for the applet to adjust your camera settings.  Increase the contrast and or brightness.  The better the picture looks to you the better it will perform in the games.

You can also increase the sensitivity to motion from within the games themselves.  While playing a game, press F11 to bring up the Options dialog.  Select the Video button (you can use the mouse for this), then the Adjust button.  Use the slider in the lower right hand corner increase the
sensitivity.

If none of this works, you should consider what is behind you that could make it difficult for your camera to see motion.  If there is a bright window, you should close the curtains or lower the shade.  If there is a bright
light washing out the picture try using a dimming or redirecting the light.
